Set against a breathtaking coastal backdrop, Island Haven is a contemporary residence designed to maximise light, views, and connection to its surroundings. This bespoke home combines timeless architectural detailing with modern living.
The exterior blends natural stone with clean, contemporary lines, striking a balance between traditional craftsmanship and forward-thinking design. Carefully considered glazing frames uninterrupted views while allowing natural light to flow deep into the home, enhancing both openness and warmth.
Internally, the layout has been thoughtfully planned to offer generous open-plan living areas. High-quality materials and tailored finishes define the interiors, while carefully curated detailing adds depth, texture, and a sense of cohesion throughout the home.
Sustainability and performance were key considerations throughout the project. Energy-efficient systems, high-performance glazing, and discreetly integrated solar panels contribute to the home’s long-term efficiency without compromising its aesthetic. Floating Symmetry
This bathroom suite balances the crisp, clean lines of floor-to-ceiling marble with the natural, grounding warmth of a walnut-grain door. By using backlit mirrors and integrated under-vanity lighting, we’ve established a central focal point that feels both modern and weightless. The double vanity unit features a mix of concealed drawers and a central open-shelving for optimal storage.
Weighted Minimalism
This space is a study in dramatic contrast, where expansive, clean surfaces meet rich industrial textures. The design is anchored by a large monolithic island that offers generous workspace while serving as a bright, social hub at the heart of the home.
To balance this brightness, a full-height wall of dark metallic cabinetry introduces depth and presence. The bronze-toned panels bring a sense of visual “weight,” seamlessly integrating a suite of high-end ovens within a refined, handleless profile.
Flooded with natural light from the wide-aspect windows, the kitchen feels open and airy - proof that a minimalist layout can still feel warm, inviting, and full of character.
